'the nightmare corpse-city of R'lyeh, that was built in measureless aeons behind history by the vast, loathsome shapes that seeped down from the dark stars. There lay great Cthulhu and his hordes, hidden in green slimy vaults and sending out at last, after cycles incalculable, the thoughts that spread fear to the dreams of the sensitive and called imperiously to the faithfull to come on a pilgrimage of liberation and restoration. '
Cthulhu lies dormant in R'lyeh, and he sends out messages in dreams to artists, poets, and madmen. When the stars are right, R'lyeh will rise again and Dread Cthulhu will ravage the earth. Cthulhu and the quoted text are from one H. P. Lovecraft (the Traitor). Drawing and coloring are all mine. Colorwork took about 12 hours maybe? It was a long process. I learned a lot over it, including that my skill is coming back to the surface. Thanks to  for the help with figuring out stuff that I should have already known. Thanks to  and  for advisement and assistance. I'm happy with this one I think. As always, colored with a mouse. I need a tablet.IA |
